Hey! I'm really excited about the first issue of Fight On!
What has been submitted so far? Can't wait to see all the good stuff!
RL is getting a bit heavy, I don't have much free time. But if you need a DM's challange, just tell me!

Lots of good things. We have a great article on magic variant rules, a cool mini-dungeon, a couple neat columns on personalizing charactesr, a picture of Gary, and a bunch of other stuff.
I think I want to dedicate the second issue to Dave Arneson, even though he's not dead yet. Maybe someone could do an interview, or at least ask the Great Svenny if we could republish his tale of the first D&D adventure...

How about dedicating the second one to Bob Bledsaw? He still lives too, but it would be nice to tribute him in this hard times. Just a thought.

Bledsaw, Barker, Hargrave, and Stafford will probably round out the first six issues. Whether there will be more to it than the dedication remains to be seen. There are a lot of heroes to be honored, that's for sure. If it would actually give BB any happiness I'd bump him up to issue 2 (or even 1), but I suspect it's going to take a while for people to notice us.
If you can get good B&W diagrams I'd consider a DMs challenge column, written by you and/or others.

I would be interested in submitting a comprehensive writeup of my OD&D Middle-earth rules and ideas for a future issue. I would also love to see similar treatments such as Doc’s OD&D Barsoom. Regards.

Cal,
The ongoing dedications are a great idea. You mentioned interviews earlier, which is also a great idea. At the least, it'd be cool to write up a summary of what they've contributed.
