Search for Gandahar on YouTube. I only saw a few clips of that movie, but it has some Carcosa elements, notably some humans with blue or purple skin and a giant brain creature worshiped by robots.

I was thinking of adding this somewhere in my campaign.

I could deal with the first, but the next two, brrr! I lost some SAN right there. Still trying to decide which one is creepier; undead skeleton with candy, or mutated blue man in a tutu. Edit: Never before has my avatar been so accurate!

That's one way to introduce the setting.

Somone posted this image on Dragonsfoot, and I immediately thought it would fit right in Carcosa:

The Bone Sorcerer as he will appear in the game session I am running after work this evening. Decided to upgrade his armor with a partial salvaged space suit and a Shub-Spawn bound to his club in the spirit of the Elric stories. (With demon bound weapons.) Inspiration for the space suit helmet/tube comes from "Strange Ascension" by Dubisch on DeviantART. Attachments:

Cool video and that can certainly be a Carcosa, but my mind wanders to Tarzan meets the New God's with a splash of Kamandi and Thundarr.

Here are a few more photos. The first three aren't related to Carcosa, but the next ones are views of the Unanswerable Obliteration (ruler of the Green Man village in Hex 0904) and a couple of drawings I made and fixed with Paint. I realize my drawings aren't pretty, but I think they can give my players a feel of the setting, and beauty is usually alien to Carcosa anyway. www.dropbox.com/sh/byy41sbh6z0rmrf/AADWxA6D_sXg5FU2dlsFgSr_a?dl=0

Is there a way to view pictures on Pinterest without signing in? I'm not inclined to become a member, but Pinterest has started blocking non-members from looking at the photos.

Crap. I forgot about that. Um, not sure at this moment how or if it is possible.

That soundtrack would indeed fit Carcosa. Not sure I'd use it during live play, however, as my players may find the sounds distracting. Then again, they said they want to see why I find Carcosa different, so I may use it in conjunction with the pictures posted here and in other places.

This creature needs to be written up as a monster.

That is a Spawn of Shub Niggurath if I've ever seen one.
(which I guess I haven't, but you know what I mean...)
