In another thread, Rick said this and I didn't want it to get lost, so I created a new thread for it. Now for a challenge. I'd like to simplify to a rules book, but the current maps & movement pose a problem. Thoughts ? I'm not entirely certain what issue you have with the current maps and movement. 1. If your concern with the current map is that it's a fictional city, that can be fixed quickly enough by switching to Chicago. The scale of Chicago is pretty much set, so this would take care of some of the movement issues. 2. In general, when running a city adventure I do a lot of "hand waving" for movement. It would be possible to do something like this in the rules. For example, rather than posting a scale in miles one could make a list of key places and make a chart out of it so that one could reference minutes from X to Y. * City Hall to police station. * City Hall to airport. * Police station to airport. And so on. Or perhaps I'm not understanding your initial concern?

Marv,
My initial concern was how to accomplish the block map/district map within a PDF or PoD format. Have been told it can be handled in the mechanics of putting together a PDF or PoD. So... it appears to be a non problem.
Thanks for input.
