We have a great issue ready to go....so we don't need anything else at this point. But I will mention a couple things here we might be able to wedge in if they are short.
1. Alternate combat rules or variants.

"Alternate Combat Rule for any RPG by Michael Curtis
In lieu of rolling dice to resolve combat, punch a random player. Whether or not the party is surprised will be immediately determined. Continue fisticuffs until the player or the referee is rendered unconscious. If the player loses consciousness first, the party is defeated. If the referee is knocked out, the party is triumphant and may loot the GM's home for treasure.
NOTE: Regardless of who wins, it is unlikely that the campaign (or the game session itself) will continue much longer--unless you're all a bunch of twisted masochists!"

Hi calithena, after playing Conan RPG (1985 TSR version) for awhile I designed a modified combat system for OD&D type games that combines the basic mechanics of both systems.
Heavy armour makes you easier to hit, yet can potentially absorb some damage, and shields are more effective.
I will email it to you for you to take a look and see if you find it interesting . Thanks, Scaly
