You're welcome! It seemed crazy to use b'yakhee, deep ones, and cthulhu, but not use Lovecraft's settings like Arkham, Innsmouth, Kingsport. Naturally everything will have a Carcosa twist. (Ignore the real-world cities on the map: Boston, Cambridge, Worcester, etc. although I'm undecided about Salem though... that could be a fun locale!) The map shows only a tiny corner of a vast, wild continent. The Monorail has opened travel to the Great Plains; beyond that, rumors of a western mountain range that dwarfs the Trapezoids. To the east is the Sea. Fishing and whaling ships harvest its natural resources, divers risk drowning and "the bends" to bring back sunken treasure, and the privately-funded Kingsport Navy fights a stalemated war of attrition against pirates (and worse). Miskatonic University sponsors expeditions--archaeological, anthropological, scientific, and zoobotanical--to all corners of the world. Many do not return...
