Yes, he does have a lot of great tools. We need to spread the word, since I think the only forum that guy posts on is the Goblinoid ones.

Guess I'm that guy. Nope, I don't post much anywhere. Most of the early stuff was for LL so the Goblinoid boards seemed like the best place. The other stuff is a bit less targeted -- just whatever comes to mind when I get the coding itch.
RECG was a lot of fun. Glad you enjoy 'em.

Here's the overall list of stuff I've done for Labyrinth Lord... Hoard/Treasure Generator Quick and easily generate treasure based on individual hoard class. Monster Stat Blocks Bare bones stat and treasure block generation for monsters. Generally used to cut and paste stats into another document. Monster Stocker Generate lists of stockable creatures by level based initially on the tables from Oubliette #6. Essentially just a list of "wandering" creatures by level. (Incomplete) NPC Generator Generate fast NPC groups based on level and count. Bare bones stats, armor/weapon, a twist of personality info, and spell books tied in. Spell Book Generator Random spell book generation to aid in treasure generation or to equip non player characters. Spell Scroll Generator Simple spell scroll generation. Originally design to aid the hoard generator but useful as a stand-alone application. Treasure Book Generator Need a lot of results or just a reference booklet to issue treasure for a random encounter? This utility generates a PDF reference book covering all hoard classes. Treasure Book of the Day Identical to the generation utility but you don’t have to wait for the PDF to output. Generated nightly with 100 results for each hoard class. Additional Stuff that may be of interest Random Esoteric Creature Generator The fun and chaos from Raggi's booklet with limited details. Covers the bulk of the possibilities. Medieval Style Names Historical names. Standalone but really a precursor to the NPC stuff. Afterall, NPCs do need names.. |
