Over on the Labyrinth Lords boards is a discussion about making a LL conversion for EPT. Just thought I'd post this just in case nobody else had wandered over there....

Hmm. I know that EPT is available as a PDF for pretty cheap. A bit more expensive, but I am really impressed with the quality of stuff that I've gotten from Tita's... it's so cool that all that old stuff has been kept in print.
So my question would be... how does it help to do an OSRIC/LL type thing for EPT? I'm not contesting it, just asking.

I guess there would just be less work for the GM if EPT had been tweaked to work with their favorite set of rules. It may also be a 'selling' point (distribution point?) for LL over say BFRPG or whatever.

Well, I have been using EPT for the last few weeks and so far Im quite satisfied.
Granted, the system is 33 years old and some bits could use some tweaking. But I don't think adapting it to a new ruleset (again), particulary one that so similar to OD&D in the fist place, is going to be much useful beyond allowing LL fans to run Tekumel using their favourite system.
There are a few instances where EPT diverges from OD&D (no spell levels, damage depending on level of attacker and defender, etc) and I've found out I actualy prefer it this way.
But I'm also checking out LLEPT when its done. I might get surprised.
