Hi folks! Want to earn fame and PDFs as a Fight On! contributor? Draw one of these in the next couple of weeks and send it in. Claim the ones you want here - first come, first served! - a swashbuckler, posing or swashbuckling- ‘elf as green man’ art: odd74.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=6204- Slimes (e.g. an ochre jelly) dripping off the walls of beautiful Moroccan-themed dungeon passages - Small tin men hiding amidst debris (taken by Nezach?)- A picture of (at least part of ) a verdant, green fantasy world from above – maybe a Tolkien-style landscape laid out below – lot of flexibility for content but should give a ‘northern fantasy’ feel- A 'northern fantasy'/broken sword style pic - elves, trolls, vikings in battle, etc. - Three sixteenth-century adventurers: a Spanish navigator with pistols, cutlass, cuirass, and open helm, a Dutch trader with arquebus, cuirass, and open helm, and a Portuguese seaman with cuirass, broadsword, and a magical air about him. They could be drawn posing or spying on or in battle with snake-men. - A large camp of semi-intelligent baboons near a stream/river, optionally with adventurers throwing them a nomad to eat in exchange for information - A barbarian city (think Yu or Oin in the young kingdoms – a mixture of Mogadishu, Kabul, and Casablanca- walled compounds, women only in masks, men with facial hair) - Dust that makes you swell up like a balloon- A cobalt-white bolt of magical energy with teeth, perhaps being cast upon a clockwork monster or similar mechanical apparatusThanks for any help you can provide!

Greetings and salutations, Calithena! Just starting out here; I'll take the last entry (the energy bolt with dental work).

The Tin Men sound like a fun one. Are there any more details about them? Are they Oz style tin men? Also, would something like this sketch work for the 'fantasy world from above'? nezach-hod.tumblr.com/post/5551351533 I would clean it up and fix things naturally, but I wanted to see if you would rather have a more 'landscape' style perspective as that's rather isometric (I was messing around after looking at some Chinese river scrolls.)

This list seems much shorter than previous ones. Is this because of layout restrictions?

Labsenpai - It's because an uncharacteristically large number of contributors submitted art with their articles. I don't know if that's a new trend or not. Probably not - it occurs to me that we got a ton of great pictures from Ken St. Andre's crew.
I will probably have a few more later but you're right, not as much as usual this time. Sorry about that!
Nezach - yes, miniature Oz style tin men. Would love that picture you linked to also. Send along either/both when they're ready!

My good friend (and soon-to-be brother-in-law!) Lawrence Raymond would like to tackle the swelling dust...

Are there any specific details for the swashbuckler, cal?

Ant - no, it's for a character class article, so however you want to imagine one and whatever sort of action and/or pose you want works fine.
Kesher - Lawrence gets the balloon dust! Thank him for me.

- A large camp of semi-intelligent baboons near a stream/river, optionally with adventurers throwing them a nomad to eat in exchange for information I would like to try my hand at this one and may take another depending on personal ink bravery. Also, sorry for the newbie question but what is the due date for issue #13. (early Oct as stated in the other thread?)

Greengoat - thanks! It's yours. Next couple of weeks work for you? Yes, I will get on it. I just have to work out how semi-intelligent baboons will look.

Like normal baboons, but with a fondness for daytime TV.

Like normal baboons, but with a fondness for daytime TV. Ouch. Maybe I can have them buying an extended warranty from the PCs.

Calithena, did the two images I sent to your gmail account get through?
Edit: no worries; I got your reply email.

I'll attempt the northern dark age stuff...can't do green skin in B&W though Is this to be an epic battle of the races or just PCs vs enemies?

Either one would be fantastic, Lee. It's a sort of mini-setting article. Thanks!

It's yours! Thanks!
Work is finally easing up, home sick but real hardcore layout should be upon us soon now. Blocking etc. are already done.

Art Sent: PCs trading a nomad to semi-intelligent baboons for information. Still working out my inking practice. There are some awkward spots but some stuff turned out okay. Ever forward.

Hi. New member. Is there a final drop-dead deadline for submissions? And is the baboon art the only one that is listed as needing to be done that hasn't been crossed off on the list?
