"On my side, eh?" asks the Green Man. (Cha check = 3) "Then what are you doing in my office in the middle of the night?"
Supervisor Whitman lowers the tip of his sword slightly, waiting for your answer before he attacks (but still very much on guard).
There is a strange slurping sound behind you, as your old friend the One-Winged B'yakhee materializes in the desk room, blocking your escape.
Incidentally, you notice that the clanging alarm bell from Aylesbury has finally stopped.

She plans to strike the moment his attention is diverted unless one of her companions comes up with a better plan...

Supervisor Whitman replies, "Of course I know what happened in town, I've just come from there a moment ago. Somebody has desecrated my family crypt, and The Pastor is missing!" He turns to the B'yakhee with a puzzled look. "Is this true? Do you know this Ulfire man?"
Fated (but nobody else) hears strange thoughts in his head: "IS TRUE. BRAVE BUT FOOLISH."
"Which would explain why he's in my office at this hour," mutters the Supervisor. His guard is still up.

His brow furrows as he inspects the roll of 13 coins, which quickly disappear into his pocket.
"Let's have a seat in the waiting room, for I have many questions. No funny stuff, or my friend here will cast you down from the mountain."

Breath of New Moon follows as well. She attempts to affect a casual demeanor while simultaneously not turning her back to the Green Man or the B'yakhee.

There is a sudden THUMP from the rooftop and Supervisor Whitman looks as surprised as you! He nods at the B'yakhee who instantly teleports out of sight to investigate.
Moments later, the Supervisor abruptly clutches his temples in excruciating pain. Fated to Die, who is also attuned to the B'yakhee's frequency, also hears the telepathic screams. [saving throw vs spells: Supervisor 15, Fated 19.... success!]
Something is on the roof... your actions?

Breath of New Moon seriously considers skewering the Supervisor then and there, but decides that maybe he can be of more help distracting whatever is up on the roof.

Supervisor Whitman dashes to the front door just in time to see the B'yakhee plummet to the ground, clutching the stump where its left arm used to be just a few moments before!
He unleashes a long string of expletives in Green, kicks the bottom half of the Dutch-style door shut, and crouches behind it for cover...

The Shadow quietly moves to that exit, though he suspects it will be hard for them to leave the shack from any direction without whatever was on the roof noticing them...

When Breath makes it to the garage door with The Shadow and Minion, she first carefully looks up towards the top of the door, then looks outside (without sticking her head out of the door).

The Thing on the Roof reveals itself! A giant gelatinous toad leaps toward the helpless B'yakhee!
It stands triumphantly over its prey while a large number of man-sized gelatinous toads begin to hop out of the mist. Each is misshapen in its own individual grotesque fashion.

Breath of New Moon is at the western side of the garage door, peeking outside without stepping outside. When she sees the approach of the Toads, she watches them carefully to see where they go... She also attempts to estimate their speed, specifically if they are faster than herself or not.
