I thought it would be useful to start a thread about HE in general but rather than be repetitive myself, I'll mention that I've started some musings on my blog regarding the EPT rules and HE, mostly. boggswood.blogspot.com/Anyway, I'd encourage folks to post HE thoughts here too.

Awesome to see you get this started. It reminds me that I have been sitting on my playtest notes for Humanspace for wayyyy too many months.

Anyone knows anything about the current state of Humanspace Empires? Is it still under development?

Drune has seemed to dropped of the face of the Earth. I haven't heard from him in a while and he hasn't posted anything new to his Ix blog. I'll fire him an e-mail to see if he is still with us and not traversing the Isles of Teretane.

Late summer and fall tend to be the busiest time for CRM projects (cultural resource management, AKA "public archaeology"). Being married with two kids has pretty much grounded me to local projects only but I would not be the least bit surprised if Drune is shovelbumming somewhere and living in a hotel. Such is the life of an archaeologist. By the by, I posted some thought on EPT-esq additions to HE combat on my blog here boggswood.blogspot.com/2011/09/humanspace-empires-personal-combat.html

I would really HE to be eventually finished. The posts on Ix are fascinating, letting this project die would be a huge mistake.

I liked the rules when I started playing the online game, but I ran out of time. I really liked how they were a close parallel to the EPT rules.
