The out of character discussion thread. We can use it for discussing everything related to the game.
Generally speaking, I will try to set up the in character scenes such that players will be presented with choices; if something affects only one character or is otherwise separate from the group, we'll probably take it to PMs.

I think the note in Salarvyani is just Dronnu's note telling us where and when to meet?

My mistake. Obviously up too late. And the note is presumably in Tsolyani, not Salarvyani, which is why Kogush has trouble reading it. I'll catch up any day now.

I've moved things along a bit. We can make use of flashbacks and the like to deal with unfinished business.
General question: I am planning on rolling the dice for combat, and leave tactical choices for you to determine. That having been said, how much summarizing of combat are you all comfortable with? What would you like in terms of description?

I am ok with whatever keeps things flowing smoothly. "Choose Your Own Adventure" style is fine if need be.

I thought the patron was looking for mercs to *accompany him* back to the underworld. Since his clan thought it pointless, he wasn't going to get the clan guards to come along. Thus we wouldn't need to know about where to go, and what the guy looks like, if the boss is with us. But I'm sure this will come out in the IC thread, if I've misunderstood.  |

Yes, there's something more going on here, judging by the lack of clan support. However, that might just be "we're not throwing good money after bad-" with a young jack-a-napes.

There is that, but we are remarking on PC confusion about whether the noble lord will be accompanying us into the Underworld while we serve as his guard, or whether we are being hired to go seek his friend without him.

Your should assume you have the gear you requested. Mottán didn't seem too concerned (if at all) about the cost of what you wanted. I'll keep track of it, and remind you if you forget what your character would use.

We have Kogush, Nyara, Batikan, Kimesh, Mottan, and the bearers Jaru and Kimel, who I assume are also the torch bearers.
I'm finding it a bit awkward to divide up and have enough light. How about 2 columns as follows:
Kogush * Batikan
Kimesh * Jaru (torch)
Nyara * Mottan
Kimel (torch)
I don't like having a torch undefended from the rear, and we lack sufficient numbers to completely surround Mottan with fighters unless we put him in the second row and all the torches towards the rear, which might not shed enough light forward. What say the other characters?
