I was wondering if there were any plans to create a second compiled edition of issues 5-8 (or whatever seems good). I like the magazine format, but having the big ol' book just feels right, y'know? Plus, I end to beat up magazines very quickly, and books just last and feel better to store.
Just my opinion, obviously and I'll likely end up buying the issues either way.

Yes, but not for a while yet. There is also some demand for the hardback compilations apparently. Those are supposed to be special items for sales/contests but there aren't lulu author contests any more. The most important thing to us is just getting the 'zine out and supporting the community however we can. But we're aware that people like these things and we will get them out eventually.  |

I am planning on getting to the limited release hardcovers and the second softcover (issues 5-8) as soon as issue 13 is out. Hopefully that will be in time for the winter holidays! Then the tables book... |

That is an interesting idea, Ant! The first one Mythmere and I did as a joint venture to help sell stuff for the first lulu contest way back. But there has sure been a lot of great art in FO! and I like to support our artists. Hm. Let me get the current commitments a little better under control and then think it over.

Nobody's run any ads yet, but there are some new things in the store, due to long-running and persistent demand. They'll be up for a month from whenever we get to running ads...
