Since there seems to be some interest in Empire of the Petal Throne, should it be added to Other TSR Classics?
It does meet the requirements. =

I think there is quite likely enough interest in EPT for it to have its own board.

By all means, add EPT to the Classic board.

At first I thought that just putting EPT into an "other RPG" section would work, but it seems that the demand is greater than I suspected. EPT gets its own home!

Excellent! Now we have to keep posting to it to show it deserves it. ;D =

Y'know about seeing a need to fill, and then filling it.
The EPT section of these boards must have been a need to fill that I didn't see. Thank you to those of you who requested this area, because I had no idea that there would be so much enthusiasm for EPT.
Very nice. Thanks!

After an inital surge, the EPT section has gotten a bit stagnant. C'mon, folks! Let's discuss EPT!

I'm currently looking for some time to finish up reading EPT. When we get to a good stopping point for our OD&D game, I plan to run a few EPT scenarios. Then I'll have more to contribute to the subject matter Doc

I got my hands on the original book today and i think it looks fabulous. Instead of actually running the game it just started getting my juices flowing to create my own wholly unique world with the d&d rules as the base.

It can be a wonderful fountain of ideas for a wide range of genre. Just depends on which part you emphasize. =

I agree. You can run it as close to traditional OD&D as you like, but the rules and setting are also designed to move pretty far from the traditional. Also, EPT has such a rich history in the rulebook that it really gets you thinking about how to tinker with your own game to follow Barker's lead.

Just as a vague ADMIN observation, let me say that it's nice to see such renewed enthusiasm for EPT on these boards. In the span of March-April there have been a number of threads and posts on various topics, and prior to that this section had clearly gotten stale.
Keep it up, guys!
