forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?583109-Tekumel-Publisher-of-Tekumel-Novels-and-Mitlanyal-Shutting-Down---------------------------------------------------- In a post on the unmoderated tekumel yahoogroup, the guy who is Zottola Publishing announced that he is shutting down the business. ZotPub is the one-man microbusiness that has published M.A.R. Barker's last three Tékumel novels, and the Mitlanyal two-volume supplement. I think there's a decent chance that eventually the Tekumel Foundation will find a way to get the books into print (maybe via print-on-demand) but given that nobody is making any money on this, that could take a loooong time. ZotPub still has some unsold stock, you can get copies on Amazon, or from Tita's House of Games, but once the existing stock is gone, there are no plans for getting more copies printed. by Epengar ================================== The End of an Era. =

I know others on the list were advocating for the books to be switched to a no-overhead, print-on-demand publisher like Lulu.
After getting the formatting going this seems like a really sensible alternative, since they wouldn't being incurring any cost from low sales. The Foundation would only make money on each sale.

Another thought ... Does this mean that the books will now be available in eText or PDF? (Nook, Kindle or other reader ready). I would love to get copies but not at $20 each. =

Several potential publishers have stepped forward; the Tekumel Foundation is in discussion about next steps.
