As far as I know, makofan is doing level 11, kensanata is doing level 13, and I am doing level 15. But that still leaves a couple places for people to get involved:
Level 9 - The Dark Troll Citadel - a tough meat and potatoes assault on an underground fortress, perhaps G3 with trolls could be a model - busman was doing this (and I have some helpful notes from him) but I have not heard from him for over a year, so it's open to whoever wants it. This is the last full level open, so if you want to author a Darkness Beneath level, this would be a good choice!
But also, if you have read issue 12, you know that level 8 is huge and open ended, so if you still want to 'get in' on TDB you could pick a sub-region of level 8. Heron Prior and Simon Bull may be submitting some of those as well already, but we are certainly open to others. Here are some choice names still available:
3. The Tilting Tunnels 4. Pteroc Stables 5. Dagendreng Hold 7. Thicket Tunnels of the Flower Dryad 8. Seekers’ Redoubt 9. Fell Lagoons 10. Raptor Run 11. Tar Pits 12. The Bad Puppets’ Camp 13. Tomb of Thirteen 14. Nightwing Temple 15. Cliff-City of the Thousand Spears 16. Lair of Gorangol, the Night Dragon 17. The Pale Grove 18. The Cock-Robin 19. Sunken City 20. Snow Throne (Simon has this already, I think) 21. Multiversal Bazaar 22. Bubble Boy 23. Shrine to the Black Lord of Nothingness 26. Mourner’s Keep
This stuff is all optional, since Level 8 was deliberately presented as a sandbox, but if you have an inspiration in for filling in some of these send it along.

Level 11 is a b*tch. I am trying to simultaneously find a job, launch a business, and write a novel, so I am not spending much time writing Fungus Forest. I am used to vague strokes and winging everything. Also all the other DB levels keep stealing my ideas! However, I keep plugging along. It's about 1/4 done - all the conceptual details and maps are done, and about 1/4 of the sub-levels have been detailed. I'm actually working on the Mold Falls part right now.

Thanks Makofan! I know it's tough. Hopefully you or kensanata will be able to finish a draft by the end of August - if not, well, we'll do something else. (But the show must go on!)
I suppose the Dark Troll Citadel cross-statted for T&T might be a propos - but will I have time to write it if no-one else does?
Something always comes through. Good luck with the job and real life stuff, and I know the mod will be awesome when you get it done!

With this...uh... keyboard-ish blade, I promulgate a dib on the Multiversal Bazaar! If you thought the lvl 6 staircase was weird, just wait

Keep up the good work, guys. Although today is the deadline, it takes at least a month to actually put together the issue, so there is still some flex. I guess if neither of you get it done in time I will have to write up the dark troll citadel. Anyone want to do a map for that?

A kind and enterprising soul would benefit us all if he were to start a thread that lists: A. Each level in order. B. The issue of Fight On! in which each level appears. C. The author of each level. It'd be neat to see how close this monster dungeon is to getting finished. And when it's finished, imagine it being published in a single tome. It'll be the awesomest dungeon ever!

I think Jeff Rients already figured out the best way to show this: 2.bp.blogspot.com/-A9RCIdxt0Xo/TCYZEJBsX_I/AAAAAAAAE6k/ahTPcQQgzn0/s1600/darkness.pngOf course this needs to be updated and level/author's names could potentially be added. I actually printed this out and update it with each new issue. I think this would be a very useful reference in the zine and/or on the fight on! web site. What do you think Cal?

The PCs recently had their first ecounter with the Dark Trolls (self-appointed lords of the Darkness Beneath). It did not go well for those in the party that resisted. The party was forced to turn over much of their hard-earned treasure. Needless to say, at some point in the near to intermediate future, I think my players will be interesting in a foray to their Citadel.

There was some talk a while ago of doing a bonus instalment on the wilderness above ground. Is that still in the works?

If the citadel is more or less an underground castle, I enjoy drafting structures like Caernarvon or Marksburg. I'm not sure what kind of architecture has been envisioned for the trolls

Kelvin - I actually have random encounter tables for the wilderness above, plus a terrain map, that I wrote up years ago. We could print that at some point.
Terrex - looks like Mako saved me from writing up the Citadel - sorry if that slows you down - on the other hand, if you have to wing it, maybe we can use your notes to write the level.
Terrex #2 - Yes, I like that bit of Jeff's - I am sure he would be happy to update it himself when he has time - or maybe Rob if he checks in as he did the original - and it would be a fine 'visual index' to put in the magazine. With level 15 to wrap it up if not before!
