I just ordered and received the entire line of FightOn! Magazines and am glad to have them. But...
You have to at least bubble wrap such an order. Do this even if it means raising the cost of product. I want to say, to do so is professional, but if this slipshod is on Lulu, well then it's just plain disappointing.

I don't believe this is something the publisher has control over.

I am glad you got the issues!
I am also a little bit surprised about the packaging. Generally my orders from lulu show up bound and covered in a protective sheath - not bubble wrap usually, but something that has always protected the contents. I wonder if they don't do this on larger orders?
Anyway, sorry about that. As Melan said, lulu doesn't offer us choices about how they package or ship.
Welcome aboard, and fight on!

To be honest, I consider Lulu's packaging to be excessive. I'd be perfectly happy with a cardboard sheath -- as amazon use -- or even a plain envelope, but the foam padding used is over the top, and can't even be recycled.
A large order, like vladicu's is a bit different, of course.
