A suburb of Rochester, NY called West Henrietta. Crazy Egor used to have a store about two miles from my home. Sadly he sold the business years ago and only operates via Ebay :-(

I figured this may be a good thread to say HI! to everyone I've been reading along for a while and finally registered. I'm from Kempten, Germany - a.k.a. Cambodunum. Usually someplace between Würzburg, Germany, and Madrid, Spain, but mostly in Germany since last year. I studied in Würzburg. Nice place, or at least it was. It's been a while since I've been there. |

About 30-some miles from Sacramento, CA. Not actually a good area: I'd rather be back in Sacramento, or back in the Portland area, or in a couple other places, actually. Well, hopefully six years gone by finds you living in a place that you dig. For my part, I am in Sacramento running mostly weekly games at Great Escape Games. |

I guess I never posted here. For a number of years now I've been proud to call what is technically Surrey, but might as well be Berkshire, home. It actually was Berkshire too for most of English history, up until it became a thing for county councils to redraw the historic boundaries every time someone spiked the drinks at the New Years party. Alas, this phase of life is at an end, and in a few months we'll probably be calling somewhere else home, which could be anywhere at all really.
We hardly ever make it back "home" home, but when we do that place is Southern California. In another life I was a variously a North Orange Countyman, a Long Beacher and an Angelino, but my own personal Shire will always be Anaheim. Born and lived in the same house there for 21 years before moving on, and now a new generation of hobbits are being raised there by my sister. It always feels a bit like Frodo coming home whenever we make the trip back.
In which case, I guess that makes my Rivendell the Ouachitas in Arkansas. It's the ancestral clan home and my parents and grandparents have both retired back there. I make it back there about as often as CA.
If you're ever free when I'm in your area, let me know and I'll grab some dice!
