Some people make them, some people don't. How about you? For me, I've always said that I'll quit smoking when I turn 30 (which is this April); I've never tried before, so I'm gonna give it a whirl. I'm also going to try to lose a few fat cells... ;D

I actually made my resolutions in November, but basically they are: - clean my house - fix my finances - get into shape - write a novel
I threw out an two dumpsters of garbage from my basement last week, so that is off to a good start. Finances, after I get the house clean I am going to counselling. I've dropped 11 pounds since the summer (from 187 to 176) - target is 170. The book is outlined. So all four are off to some sort of a start

My regular nurse told me she was proud of me because I had lost 30 pounds - and had kept it off two years later.

I'm on the patch and have the love of a good woman to get me through it, so I'm counting it as a New Year's Resolution. I also resolve to take my old school game collection to local conventions and try to become known as The Old School Guy (tm). Don't know if I'll get a campaign out of it, but I might open some peoples' minds...
