Really it was an awesome opportunity to get the skinny on Tekumel behind the scenes. Makes me want to get an OEPT game going.

I was actually directed to it by my neighbor, Thomas Juntenen, another of the old-time Tekumelyani who, much to my great delight, is getting ready to run a three or four-session game using the EPT rules and copies of some of the original Jakalla maps talked about in the interview.
I can't wait!

I can't wait! Say 'Hi!' to Junt for me. I just did essentially the same thing, though it was with GoO's T:EPT rules, the "Welcome to Jakalla" scenario from Eye of All-Seeing Wonder #1, and the megamap of the Jakallan underworld I got from Tom. The players went to one of my favorite little sections of the Jakallan underworld, the temple of Hru'u. |

Hey, Brett! Your name inevitably comes up whenever Tom and I are talking Tekumel--nice to see you around these parts.
Unfortunately Tom's game hasn't seen the light of day, though I have spent some time perusing that megamap. Awesome.

I'm hopeful that the Tekumel Foundation will be publishing some of the Jakallan Underworld maps, eventually---I'm assuming that's what you're all referring to with "megamap"?
