In the intro I often find when I make the Table of Contents my dots (Another Cool Adventure (Gabor Lux)...........22) get slightly off in their formatting towards the end of the line. Ideally I would like totally evenly spaced dots and the page numbers smack against the right-hand margin. Can anyone tell me how to do that?
I also figured out how I can pretty much end the margin problems in some of the bigger issues (not 10!) going forward in Acrobat. Maybe I'll even go back and fix some of the old ones. They aren't that bad - they haven't stopped me from using issue 3 or 9 for instance - but they do bug some people so it's cool that I have a way to fix them besides increasing the margin sizes as I did in issues 4 and 10.

What you want to do is set up a tab with a dot leader. That'll put the dots in automatically. But you want to make it either a decimal tab or a right justified tab, or the numbers won't line up right.
This should all be in the tabs menu (I don't have Word here at home, so I can't give you the exact mouse clicks, but you should be able to find it.)
If you have any more questions, let me know.

No, that worked.
Hopefully I will understand how these programs all work by issue 20!

Wait -- you're using Word as your page design tool? Much props, for I never would have guessed.

Yeah, I wouldn't have guessed that either. Sounds like an uphill battle to me.
Maybe we could take up a collection to get you some proper page-layout software. I'd donate to that cause.

I've been using Scribus, which is free. I'm no expert, but it seems to be a solid enough program.
