After a long time of searching for the design I finaly ordered a custom set of Carcosa dice from Unconventional Dice, And here they areUD can't do custom d20's yet, so I had to go with a printed D10's design, but these do look wonderful, none the less. I plan on making a bigger order when UD's laser is is operational again so that each my players will have a Random-Random-Number-Generator-Generator but it's a nice start for now. I can not tell you how excited I am to finally get my dream dice done. I hope shipping from Spain doesn't take long.

Has Geoff seen these? I'll bet he would love them. These dice aren't listed at the guy's shop, do we have to e-mail him to get them?

I bellieve that most custom dice are commissioned directly by the customer and aren't ever posted on a webpage because it is assumed that only the original buyer would be interested in them. Custom dice are designed a face at a time and you pay special fees for each design. As such they tend to be a lot more expensive than regular off-the-shelf dice.
Perhaps something could be set up so that the company could offer then for sale to the public instead of each person having to pay the custom set-up fees? That would be kewl, but I suspect the company would need to create an actual inventory rather than doing them a set at a time, but I don't really know much about the dice buisness.
I noticed that your dice are red and white. What would be the "official" colors of Carcosa? It would be neat to establish a certain color scheme for others to follow.

I just emailed him. I paid 8 euro for the D10, and 4 euro for the D6. I chose red because I wanted to make sure the color wouldn't be confused when tossed with a handful of other dice, and as it turned out all he had in stock were red and ivory at the time I ordered. I doubt he'll have jale or ulfire anytime soon.
The Dice look pretty plain, but Unconventional Dice can do some pretty intricate designs. I bounced back and forth between the Arial font and Eckmann, but I decided I wanted them more functional then decorative.

Those are awesome! Eckmann might be easier to read if the shapes were black silhouettes with the numbers "knocked out".

Maybe we can round up a few more interested in sets and do a group order?
I vote for purple and white dice, because the color used on the cover of Carcosa was a nice, rich purple.

That is kinda neat! I have a bunch of Game Science d10s, and an old box of labels for floppy disks. When I customize dice, I just add the labels on the side, and draw my own makings - I did this before for one of these slot games found in the old DMG (note, the picture just shows one die on all 8 sides).

I have a set of stickered D10 that have lasted a few months. It works well, I just wanted something a little fancier.

Maybe we can round up a few more interested in sets and do a group order? That's a nice idea. I'm guessing that they might be a little cheaper in bulk, or at least maybe each of us wouldn't be paying a set-up fee. (I'm not sure how custom dice work, but I've ordered custom t-shirts and they have a one-time "screening fee" for each side of the shirt. I'm guessing there is something similar for dice faces.)

That's pretty cool Malcadon! Have an exalt. How long do the stickers usually last? Thanks for the exalt! ;D Unfortunately, I have not much use of the slot dice since I made it, and its annoying to have to roll it three times since I only have one of them. If I had to guess, it would not last me long since the tape I used to cover it with is going to fray at the tips, and such a die like to land tip first. I used a Game Science die because they are renowned for their flat sides. After placing the labels on the dice (I double-up by wrapped single sheets over two sides), I drew the images, then I sealed it by sticking tape over each side (the tape I used is a thick type used for closing-up cardboard boxes). Unfortunately, I did not give much thought to the corners, so I might have to reinforce it with more tape. I'm also in the process of converting old d6s (the type you can find in any boardgame) to make multi-sided movement/action markers (move, run, hide, down, and the like) for a skirmish-level wargame. That would be a good opportunity to experiment.

Not that I know of, but as a fellow who has published the first standalone Carcosa module and the editor of the Carcosan Grimoire (a free resource from the fine fellows right here on ODD74), I'd be willing to helm such an effort.
Here's the deal: on June 11th I will order a purple (it just seems to fit) d10 of the type shown in the link. That gives everyone a bit over 2 weeks to get the word out and mull over your purchase. For every firm commitment, and I ask an e-mail to my screen name at gmail period com stating such, I will order a custom die.
FYI: 8E is currently ~ 11.24 USD.
When I have an amount I'll approach Dicecreator and see if he'll cut us a break.

BTW: Geoff? Are you okay with this? You seem pretty easy-going about sharing your Carcosa with us hobbyists here on the board, but with the new project coming out I just wanted to make sure you are not bothered by it.

The new Carcosa design d10s have been shipped and should arrive within the next few days. I have a picture of them I received by e-mail, I'll upload it tonight when I get home (though they look like the d10 in the picture linked above but black instead of red). I'm not accepting paid pre-orders but I will accept your word as a gamer & gentleman/lady and reserve one for you if so desire.
Carcosa d10 is black, with white numbering. Price tba tonight when the picture is posted.
Carcosa Special d10 (black) by Brave Halfling Publishing Designed by Caleb Jensen Manufactured by Dice Creator (http://www.dicecreator.com/)
Finarvyn, would you add these dice to the official Carcosa products thread? Thanks.

Here they are. I really wish they could have been purple as an homage to the color of the title on the original Carcosa supplement, but it wasn't available. I think the black came out very nice. Price (US Orders): $7.50 + $1 S/H

Those look nice! ;D You could always paint the white markings purple - at least of a brighter hue, to contrast from the black. Purple markings on white (ideally cream or manila, if available) would have been a good alternative.
