I just emailed you my write-up of the Draala, a new monster race based on the Dralasite from Star Frontiers.

Jonathan L and I are preparing another instalment of "Urgent Care Cleric". I've been given scripts for at least three more episodes, so it'll be semi-regular for a while yet!

I also have a horror-themed one-page "dungeon" which you're welcome to have, although it'll be long past Halloween when the issue comes out.

Hey Cal, do you have any sort of special permissions from Greg for this issue? I mean, can we write up something Glorantha-specific, or does it need to be more generic?

Greg is on board and I think Glorantha-based stuff is fine with him. We can mark things 'non-canonical' if need be, or I can run particular submissions by him, but my general sense is he's cool with people doing what they want to do. I think if you look at his site there's some slightly more specific language about what's OK, but since we're a fanzine I think his general support is enough to make it worth putting together what interests you. Thanks!

I'll have the Pigdivot village writeup for you to consider, as discussed, but I'm going to hold off on the additional Carcosa article - want to take some extra time to get that one right.

Jonathan L and I are preparing another instalment of "Urgent Care Cleric". This has been delayed a bit, but you should still have it by the 21st.

Sean, would you be interested in considering a sort of "Up on a Soapbox" submission? Grognardia's editorial on Fight On! really got me thinking about why I appreciate FRPG magazines so much, and I'm thinking of writing about my appreciation and what I think the best role for RPG periodicals is, and how that is a very different role from RPG books.
It would certainly be a short article, easily able to fit on one page.

Would you be interested in a short description of a plug-in site for original Runequest, The Wandering City? It would briefly explain what the City is, how it moves, and include an encounter tabel and perhaps a catch-up table like the Runequest Cities book, along with a couple of brief cult writeups in RQ form and a couple of blurbs of flavor-fic. All together maybe 4 pages?
I'm afraid this area hasn't seen play yet in my occasional RQ games, but I'm aiming at making something to be used at the table, rather than just world-building.

Invincibleoverlord - that sounds awesome! Send it in, please!
Geoffrey - I am interested in your thoughts on this for sure and your submissions are always welcome!
I would have to see what you have to say to know whether we could use it and how, though. (That goes for all articles, really.) I guess FO! doesn't have an official position on what an RPG magazine should be or should be for - we just try to get the best stuff we can and hopefully make something that people will like and use. But if you've got it in you to write it, I'd like to see it.

I got a lot of work done on Doxy this past weekend, so I'd say it's about 75% done. Since I can only work on it in the evenings this week, I don't know how long it will take, but it will be done by Friday.
EDIT: Doxy #2 is done! I'm awaiting final approval from the writer, then I'll submit it.

Collaborating on a Witch Doctor class for LL, B/X and almost complete. Is it acceptable to send this in for consideration?
Thanks! Scaly

Totally acceptable, totally welcome, we'll look out for it and don't hesitate to send it in a day or two late if you need a little extra time - I strongly suspect the Thanksgiving week is not going to see _too_ much work on issue 11 - Dire Turkeys to attend to and all that.
Thank you!
