The Delectable Shade of the Cosmic Tree sneaks forward and observes the robot factory. She watches for a pattern in the movement of the sentinels. If we can isolate them, we can take them down one at a time.

Nodu, mace at the ready, edges to the end of the tunnel. She stays pressed against the wall in the shadows, leaving a clear shot for the launcher.
"What think you, sister? Iszak? Can we lure one here and ambush it?"

"Yes, we should try to defeat them in detail," says Tas, who then readies his flail and moves close against the wall, trying to stay out of sight.

P. Ecstasy: "I agree - lure one into range of the slime launcher. Better to melt it from afar than to suffer an attack from up close."

Iszak steps a little further back in the tunnel so that he is hidden from sight, and then tosses his last gold coin into the mouth of the tunnel, hoping that the clinking noise will be enough to attract just one of the robots...

The gold coin hits the ground with a slight clang [1d6 roll] and the two closest polyhedral-like men clack over to it, leaving the third at the far end of the long room to patrol between the slow moving belts. Emerald Blade of All Challenges takes one of the spherical balls and loads it into the metal launcher. [1d6=5] it takes him a couple second to understand the workings of the device and finds the trigger. The grenade launches out of the tube with sounds of a cannon--the treaded machines must have been able to stifle the sound in some way--and [1d20=8] the Emerald Blade of All Challenges is knocked to the ground from the kick back of the launcher. "Wow," he whispers to himself. The metal sphere speeds towards the artifice [1d20=20!], landing and exploring in-between them, and dealing [1d10=4; 3d6=5, 3, 1] 9 points of damage to each. With a hiss, the metal plating begins to smoke and ware away. The left most machine falls to the ground and begins to spark. The other remains standing.
Ladies and Gentleman, your intentions in the coming round.

[OOC - That exchange has me thinking of the Terry Crews Old Spice commercial: "Building kick! EXPLOOOSIOOOOOOOON!!!"
P. Ecstasy hangs back a bit, favoring his wounded foot. "I'll guard the rear."

The wounded robot will fall to the Delectable Shade of the Cosmic Tree's obsidian-tipped arrows.
If she loses initiative and misses her chance to destroy the the 2nd robot, she will instead survey the factory for a strategic hiding spot or sniper position from which to ambush the 3rd robot.

Emerald Blade will ready leave the launcher for the moment, readying his two-handed sword upon getting up. He will attack any metal men that come close enough. "I can't wait to carve out some more ammunition for my new toy!"

"I believe ze situation requires somesing more like... zis!" breathes Iszak to himself as he extracts a shiveringly honed meat clever from his medical bag before following the others into the factory at a neat walk, cleaver in one hand, medical bag in the other.
"It is only dissapointink that zese contrivances are not of flesh..." he mutters as he walks. If the second device is not destroyed outright by those ahead of him, Iszak will contribute to its demise with a some axe-murderer hatcheting of his own.

Nodu circles around one of the clanking machines, hoping to flank the metal man Tas has engaged and strike from the rear with her mace or her jaggedly serrated dagger, which she draws from its boot sheath.

The still standing artifice [1d6=4] looks at his sparking companion and turns to run. Tas [1d6=5], Iszak [1d6=6], and Nodu [1d6=2] charge the machine while the Delectable Shade of the Cosmic Tree [1d6=5] knocks an obsidian tips arrow in her bow.
P. Ecstasy, Enmerkar and Emerald Blade hold their ground against in incoming assault.
Already at the head of the group, Iszak slashes out with his cleaver [1d20=7], but is cut off by Tas' furious assault[1d20=4] . His attack, however, falls start of its mark. The Delectable Shade of the Cosmic Tree's arrow [1d20=12] speeds through the air and bounces off the back wall, fifty feet from its shooter; at little more to the left next time. The machine, up runs to the nearest of the conveyer belts, leaps on the tracks, and is carried into the wall.
Nodu, innocent with leaving the third artifice [1d6=4] to be, takes her mace and runs after it. As soon as she closes the gap between the two combatants to twenty feet, the machine stare at Nodu and engages her in battle[1d20=4]. Nodu dodges the steely fist as she strikes out with her mace [1d20=19; 1d10=6; 1d8=4] and crushes her foe's arm for 4 points of damage. The arm is sent it flying across the room where it is crushed in the gears of a large tread pressing machine [1d6=5]. The machine begins to smoke--the arm must be jamming the gear.
The next round approaches. What are your intentions.

"I fear the escaped sentinel will sound the alarm and bring reinforcements. Be swift with it!"
Trusting her new companions to finish off the armless metal man, Delectable takes note of the room's exits, ready to let her arrow fly if more trouble arrives.

P. Ecstasy begins to bash at the conveyor belt with his mace, hoping to damage the machinery enough to make it grind to a halt. If it looks like some chops from his hand axes will help, he tries that too.

Nodu, still engaging the second metal man, attempts to bring the construct down and jam her dagger into the joint of its neck.

If Emerald Blade can reach the one on the conveyor before it's gets through, he'll try to at least knock it off with his two-handed sword... if not destroy it!

Taking aim, Delectable has but one shot to stop the fleeing machine from alerting its compatriots to the presence of the travelers. [1d20=17;1d10=8; 1d10=10!] The arrow fiery through the air and into the wall through conveyor bet vent. There is a slight clang and a fiery blast radiates back through the vent.
Seeing his companion's success and hoping for some of his own, Tas shoves through Nodu to engage the still standing machine. Swinging his flail rapidly over his head, Tas strikes [1d20=6], the chain is slams into a nearby piece of factory equipment that is stamping out metal plates. [1d10=3; 1d6=5] The force of Tas' flail sends the compression plate flying. The man-like artifice strikes out against Tas with its metal fist [1d20=11], but bounces off Tas' trusty shield. Iszak and his meat clever enter the fray, but his blow it defected by a the machine's remaining arm. Next, Nodu, lashes out with her mace [1d20=17; 1d10=2; 1d4=2]. The strike connects with the machine's leg, but the damage is minor, at best. Taking advantage of the opening, the Emerald Blade thrusts with his two-handed sword [1d20=19; 1d10=2; 1d4=1]. Although the strike drove into the machine's chest cavity, it doesn't appear to have it anything vital. Enmerkar, hoping to have the final say, grips his morning star and charges the metal beast, [1d20=6] but is unable to find an opening in his companions to attack.
A grinding noise sounds from the gears jammed by the man-like artifice's arm that Nodu sent flying. [1d6=1] After a moment of silence, the machine gives way and erupts in a mountain of fire. The blast radiates outwards, encompassing the nearly the entire room; all but The Delectable Shade of the Cosmic Tree are caught in the blast. The Emerald Blade, Iszak, and the P. Ecstasy manage to dive below and take cover below the conveyor belt. Tas, Nodu, Enmerkar, and the Machine are not so lucky--to focus on make and dodging blows to notice the fiery blast headed towards them [1d10=9; 1d12=4].
Tas [1d10=4; 1d6=5] is badly burned, but none the less alive with but 1 hit point remaining.
Nodu [1d10=6; 1d6=7] body is most shielded by the blast, juxtaposed directly behind the machine, which falls in a sparking heap to the floor. She has but 3 hit points remaining.
Enmerkar [1d10=9; 1d12=1] falls to the floor without uttering a word. Still and unmoving, it is clear from his mangled flesh that he will never rise again of his own accord. And so passes Enmerkar, to be buried and forgotten in the sands of time.

"Zat was an most unfortunant happenstance," mutters Iszak, picking himself up and brushing dust and soot from himself.
He observes the body of his fallen companion dispassionately. "Most unfortunant indeed."
He surveys Tas and Nodu to assess whether there is any weal he can offer from his medical bag for their burns and other hurts.
