Who wants what?
Thanks for all your help as usual - the art is a big part of what makes FO! so cool. I'd recommend just grabbing one or two at a time unless you have a series in mind until they get done, so everyone who wants some can get a chance.
Looking forward to seeing what folks come up with!
- a picture of a lion-man warrior and a sexy catgirl thief/priest type
- a picture of a cult leader (maybe homage to frazetta/eldritch wizardry)
- mystic sigils (ideally, Tekumeliani, but doesn’t have to be) inscribed on a floor on which a scarab beetle is rolling a ball of dung as a form of divination
- a tableau of a muscled paladin-type with a tattoo/birthmark of a big Aztec sun-wheel on his back having a knife drawn through it by a villain, while nearby his tall, gaunt battle-hardened ranger-friend watches in horror crucified to a nearby tree
- a lost archipelago wreathed in mist
- A medieval Spanish-style city being destroyed under the feet of a giant tyrannosaurus rex (160' tall, 320' long), a giant woolly mammoth/mastodon (120' tall, 240' long), and a giant butterfly (180' wingspan). The T. Rex and Mammoth/Mastodon are fighting each other as the Giant Butterfly flitters around both.
- A caveman shaman cackling at the viewer as he sends his three velociraptor minions to tear you apart.
- A swarm of Chu'Chu Dwarf Cannibals (these are human dwarfs, not the fantasy race)
- Grul-Dek, Spawn of the Thunder God, 60-foot tall, 120-feet long therapod (allosaur/t-rex type) with flaming red skin, burning red eyes, and long sharp pointed horns. getting his rage on against interlopers (i.e., adventurers) with the Great Volcano erupting in the background.
- Capitan-Gobernador Don Malévolo Hidalgo del Zegova (magic plate/shield/sword) and his lovely m-u daughter Doña Luisa Hidalgo y Romanos del Dragonia looking over captive cavemen and adventurer slaves.
- Skull Port, a corsair shantytown in which many of the homes are constructed partially out of skulls, as seen from an approaching ship.
- Tokmuk the Man-Ape sitting in "court" with adventurers, with a wise-looking human conquistador-type nobleman standing behind his right shoulder.
- Very savage looking Viking warriors (mixed Viking/Cave-man blood)
- a thief with silken-gloved hands, running them carefully along a wall looking for traps (and about to find one?)
- a character attired in a tasteful but simple tunic, with several assassins’ daggers being turned away by the tunic as if it were an iron wall
- gems!
- coins! (a treasure pic like the gems one, but separate – might be nice if the same artist did both?)
- an adventurer’s tableau in a ‘real’ cave – hanging off wall outcroppings, pulling themselves through tiny spaces, dripping water, etc.
- hairy trolls with six fingers and toes leering out of a barred window over a portcullis – beyond the portcullis is a great underground bridge over a chasm – this is a toll bridge of course
- a swamp with willowisps
- ANY ARTWORK INFLUENCED BY OR IN HOMAGE TO THE WORKS OF TOM MOLDVAY (isle of dread, castle amber, lords of creation, etc.)
