I have it now and have been reading it. I am also trying to wrap my head around it.

Reading it for the third time. As someone who is deeply ingrained into the Gygaxian philosophy I find it both refreshing and confusing. I like it, it is just so much different than what I am used to.
However, elements of this are making it into my S&W game.

You won't be disappointed. One of these days I am going to run a game just out of the book.

You're on it. After I put out the supplement and maybe a module or two I'll go to the trouble and time of creating a website (I really should), but for now, it seemed most practical to just keep in touch here since I hang out on the site almost every day anyway.

I ordered it too, 'bout 20 minutes ago. Hope it's worth the wait.

Has anyone had any delivery problems with Lulu? I ordered DatD back on the 6th and it still hasn't shown up.

That is odd. Everything I ordered from Lulu has came early. It may have something to do with the Christmas rush.

Just got it this afternoon. I'll study it thoroughly and see if I can write up a review. All I can say thus far is: nice cover!

Yes, this has been selected as the offical D@D presence on the web! I feel honored. By the way, are there any changes or edits since the original was published a year ago? I need to re-buy a copy (loaned it out, have a feeling it's now "lost" forever) and wondered if my PDF was out-of-date or not.

Yes, there were some typo "fixes" last summer, a bit of reworking the magic swords section, a couple new monsters, tweak or two to a couple spells. Then, after I was given a copy of Arneson's D&D playtest manuscript, I made a couple changes to terminology (wisdom became cunning, constitution became health) cleric magic abilities changed a little and two unique Arneson spells were added. Last revision number was 8/28/10. There will be no others as an additional info that may come to light will be put out as a supplement.

So if I buy book and PDF both are the corrected version? Cool!

I'm loving Dragons at Dawn. Not only is it an amazing historical document, it is also a d**n fine game. I'm looking forward to playing it in the future.
