Actually, it's hard for me to remember for sure what happened when, but I think that the release of a new Tolkien book was pretty special, and having both a new Harry Dresden novel and TV series were pretty cool as well. I liked the fact that the Bears made it to the Superbowl. My son's Forensics (speech) team won a state championship. I managed to avoid any major surgeries.  Lots of nice things about 2007. |

There have been a lot of best of's in 2007: Our new home, my new job, becoming a member of this great forum, starting a new campaign for the 1st time in over 5 years, my interest in D&D being renewed; I can't even name them all, there have been so many. I would like to wish all the members of this great board all the best, & also a special thank you to Finarvyn for creating this place for us; I've had a blast here with y'all & look forward to a great 2008! ;D

Certainly I had fun creating it! One of my best things for 2007 was helping a few other people encourage you to create when we found out you had been thinking about it.  |

Yep, a good year for gaming. This site. Release of the OD&D books and sups on PDF. Got some great OOP D&D material this year from friends here and on eBay. Played Ravenloft for the 1st time. Went to a CON and met Gary. Had some great sessions with my gaming group. Painted miniatures for the first time. Heh, I guess I'm trying to make up for many years of being away from D&D. Hope this coming year is a great one for all of us! |
