I just started EPT, and I love it. I ordered the pdf. I working on learning on how to make characters and flushing out my underworld. Is there any really good websites, or blogs about Empire of the Petal throne. Also is there like some reference sheets or something with all the tables put togather.

First thing I'd do is read some of the posts here on the boards. Second, look for any post by greentongue and click on the link in his signature. He's got some really good stuff hidden there. I think that finding lots of good EPT stuff is pretty hard, but you might try the offiical EPT site (I think it's at tekumel.com) to get you started.

I have some of the charts posted under "Classic Tekumel". home.earthlink.net/~djackson24/Delbert6.htmThere is a big difference between the Original and the "Current" version of Tekumel. The more you learn about the setting the more overwhelming it can become. Sometimes it is better to not know all there is. The biggest danger is trying to be true to the Professor. You try that and you will need a Master's Degree. My suggestion is to go "Old School" and make it your own. =

I have the 1975 EPT and bought the new "Tekumel" book as well to supplement. I finally decided to sell the new one because it didn't have the same feel to me as the original. I'd say stick to the TSR version if possible.

vlb, I've found one the most useful books to hunt down is the Tekumel Bestiary---well worth the price listed. Keep us updated on your sessions! Fight On! magazine (see the forum here) almost always has some sort of classic Tekumel material in it, along with an entire issue dedicated to the good Professor...

I'd also suggest finding some of the novels, at least Man of Gold (you can find all the rest from links on that page.) They really helped me imagine the world when I first discovered it.
