Trying to catch up. This is from December or January, so there may be some sketchiness in the details...

Session 5
Farned, standing alone as the rest of the party is lying helpless, hears roaring from the valley below. He knows that another squad of lizardmen, or worse, could be minutes or even seconds away. He ties Delva and Beth to one horse, and putting Tig upon his, begins his escape. This comes none too soon, as lizardmen reaching the crest of the ridge let loose with more spears. Delva's horse panicks, but Farned's ropework holds and the unconscious Delva and Beth do not get thrown off. Farned, trying to keep track of the other horse, loses sight of the river by the time he's able to calm it down.
He then realizes that the party is lost. Ever the faithful cleric, Farned puts the mark of Isengad on the rest of party while they sleep. He also takes the mushrooms from Delva and some gold from each party member.
Later that night, the party sees dozens of torchlights in the distance and the sound of hoofbeats coming closer through the woods. They meet a hundred or so pilgrims of Apollo. Upon speaking with them, the party is told of bandits to the north, and also of Pip Nimblefingers and Priscilla, infamous master thieves. Farned, deciding this would be a great time for a theological argument, claims to the High Priest that Apollo is far inferior to Isengad. The priest backhands him, knocking him out. Farned is then taken by many pilgrims, and he gets tattooed with the mark of Apollo upon his forehead. The pilgrims leave, and the party lets Farned remain tied to the tree for the night. When he awakens, Farned eats breakfast, which Delva planted with those magic mushrooms again, and the cleric again goes running naked into a nearby pond.
Navigating through forest you've never been to is tough going, and the party gets even more lost than they were. Constrictor snakes nearly eat Delva and Farned, but are sickened by the mushrooms both are carrying. Delva’s experience being in the stomach of the beast triggers a latent animosity towards humans, Farned acquires a disorder making him prone to frenzy.
Next day, Beth gets healed by Farned, who then renounces Isengad, losing his status as a cleric. Tig, on his watch, speaks with an ent, who decides to show the party the northwest passage out of the forest to the river that leads north.
The party looks for place to stay night, and find two suitable spots. 1st place is remains of a dwelling, with a wall with an arched doorway of one side still intact, with the side of a hill forming another wall. They find bloody clothing, under which a book written in a curious language is wrapped. Farned likes the second spot better, where he finds three recently dug graves. He unearths all three and find them to be pilgrims of Apollo. Farned calls out the whoever or whatever will hear him, his faith in question. That night, Farned hears howling in the distance, Farned howls back, and is answered by multiple howls. Later that night, Farned is attacked.
Session 6: Hey, this one’s not all about Farned!
Karataxas (?) the bard, astride his giant goat notices an on-watch Delva in the distance. “Who’s there?” cries out Delva. The bard steps behind a tree, replying with only music from his mandolin. Delva sends the bard a warning arrow, which, despite the long range, comes much too close to Karataxas than he’d like. He decides to ride his goat further south. He soon comes across Farned, who’s been attacked by something/one, leaving him bloodied and possibly dead. The bard’s skill with his instrument manages to revive the ex-priest, causing Farned to awake in a panic.
After calming Farned, the bard turns his attention to the three recently exhumed graves that Farned lay beside. Using his bardic gifts, Karataxas managed to awaken a dead pilgrim of Apollo. The woman immediately began demanding she be returned to her proper rest, but the bard refused. Farned assisted the bard, offering reasons to the dead woman why she should remain with the living.
Delva, Tig, and Bethesda decided to check on Farned, and found him speaking with the bard and a recently deceased pilgrim. A horrified Delva attacked the bard, thinking him a necromancer. Tig considered destroying the pilgrim on the spot, while Farned pled for a stay of execution. In the resulting mess, Karataxas the bard wound up being slain by Delva, after his boasting of using necromancy to raise the pilgrim drove Delva to charge him with his lance.
In the meantime, Farned managed to convince Rebecca the undead pilgrim that he was chosen from Apollo, and rode off with her away from the rest of the party. Farned managed to convince Rebecca of other things, as well, and wound up contracting tomb rot for his troubles. When the rest of the party caught up with him, they apprised Farned of the fact that the bard would not be accompanying them for the rest of his life.
Rebecca seemed to take on a new perspective, as the freshly deceased ghost of the bard intermingled with Rebecca’s within her own form. Shortly thereafter, a fresh fracas ensued. Farned called out for a sign, and received a vision, giving him a mission to complete, restoring him to cleric status once again. Rebecca the pilgrim corpse made the mistake of attacking Bethesda, which was sufficient to trigger Delva’s animosity. In short order, another victim had fallen to the wrath of the elven avenger.
Deciding where to stay for the night, the party settled on an abandoned hobbit hole with a few leftover foodstuffs and a heavy stack of currency worth a bit of gold. Tig spotted a rare specimen, that of a baby xorn, poking about the corner of the hole. Knowing their earthy nature, the dwarf gave the xorn a plate to eat. The hungry xorn consumed this, but this was not enough. Deciding to literally bite the hand that fed it, the xorn attacked Tig. A zealous Beth charged in, and slew the monstrosity in one blow.
Not long after, the party met another bard, a (surprise, surprise) chaotic fellow named Lafferty. Lafferty was looking for treasure as well, so decided to throw in his lot with the party. During a night’s rest, both Delva and Farned heared the howling on their watches, this time much close than ever before.
The land began to resemble that which was described as being the area about Quasqueton. Looking through the hills, Tig spotted a cracked opening which led to a cave. Tig observed spider webs and relayed this to the rest of the party; he didn’t see the phase spider attack him. The party managed to land enough blows, thanks in part to Lafferty’s music baffling the beast, to cause it to flee for fear of its life.
Tig was bit by the horrid thing, and the poison entered his blood. The cleric’s supplications were enough to buy him some time, as the dwarf’s constitution kept him alive when most men would have died from the toxin. Farned swore he would bestow a greater blessing on the dwarf the next day, when he could properly perform a purification ceremony.
Upon entering the lair of the monster, the party discovered a wealth of silver coins, some 1874 of them, two scrolls which they could not ascertain the exact nature of (one being a protection scroll, the other an arcane writing.) Beth discovered magic plate armor but handed it to Delva. Lafferty discovered a potion of tealish-blue appearance and immediately quaffed it. He felt invigorated, not realizing he had just consumed a serving of fire resistance. The party decided this would be a good place to camp.
