Which is the font used for the text in the OD&D 3 books and the rest of the supplements?

That's a great question, and you can find the answer here I'll move this thread to the "Resources" section soon.

Sadly, the aswer is not there.
Cool site anyway.
I'm speaking about the text font in the original books. The main font used for the text. Not the headers or titles.
Is it just Times New Roman?

All printings of Chainmail and the early printings of the boxed set were in Futura Lt BT (or something similar). The 5th and 6th printings of the box were re-set in Helvetica (or something similar). No idea about the supplements.

I'm working on my own OD&D supplement, and I want to keep the presentation and feel of OD&D. ;D

Supplements II-IV and later printings of Supplement I appear to be in Times Roman (or, again, something similar). From what I understand (never actually seen a copy) early printings of Supplement I were in Futura Lt BT, like the boxed set.

I know that the last printed version of Chainmail uses the same font as the 1e AD&D manuals and "looks" a lot better than the earlier versions which used something like Arial or Helvetica.
I personally use Century Gothic at 8 pt or 9 pt and think that it looks Old School enough for my purposes.
