Hi there! I'm totally new to both this forum and OD&D, so I'm going to ask you a question that will mark me as noob. I didn't find any table with Thief's (as presented in Supplement I Greyhawk) Saving Throws, and this is a little bit frustrating. I would use the Saving Throws Matrix from AD&D 1st Ed, but I'm sure I've missed something. I would take this opportunity to congratulate with you for this amazing forum, terrifying useful for who, like me, is totally new to all this great old stuff (especially if born after '85). Sorry for my bad english, please forgive my italian being ;D

On page 13 of Supplement I: Greyhawk, "With regard to saving throws treat Thieves as Magic-Users." This is found near the bottom of the page, right above the weapons versus AC chart.
Indicating that thieves should use the magic-user saving throw tables.

Ahu, I think that this is marking me more as dumb than noob. Anyway, thank you so much for your reply!

Don't feel bad, mate. The information in the original edition booklets is often spread out over several sections. This makes it difficult to find what you're looking for. Fortunately, searchable PDFs make the job much easier!

Here's another one for you malsanity - the section on Healing Wounds isn't in the first book near the Hit Dice description, but on the second-to-last page of the third volume.

So starting with Swords & Wizardry was the right thing to do I guess! I was just curious about the question and trying to recreate the things I love the most from the other editions (I started with the 2nd Advanced). Thank you so much!
