Carcosa/Darkness Beneath crossover

For any enterprising D&Der who would like to take a crack at doing something with Carcosa, here's an idea for you:

1. Make a high-tech underground city of the Space Aliens. Remember that you have my blessing to publish your own Carcosa stuff, either for free or for profit.

2. Submit this city to Fight On! as level 14 of the Darkness Beneath collaborative dungeon. I'm sure that Calithena could make any necessary tweaks.

3. Take a look at Calithena's newest thread about the Darkness Beneath: odd74.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fanzine&action=display&thread=3394 There's not one but TWO levels that would make cool Carcosa levels. Check out not only level 14, but also level 12: Blasphemous Shrine of the Tentacled God. If that doesn't beg for Carcosa, I don't know what does.

The City of the Ancients would be an especially good Carcosa tie-in, I think. The vibe is just right - also, I think we have a very cool writer lined up for level 12 already (since I talked to Geoff last). But anyway, if you have questions, I'd love to see some Carcosan goodies in TDB, and as usual you could also use your production for your own purposes and publications as well.

What are you looking at for size (word count) and deadline for Level 14?

It's pretty open ended. I think you'd probably need at least 4 or 5 pages to do it right, but a minimalist description would be fine, as would something more detailed. Basically, if you have a good idea for an underground City of the Ancients, we want it!

We'd need it by mid-late April if it were to go in the next issue but if we don't have it by then there are issues coming every three months after that. Let us know!
