It would be interesting to see a map showing both coastlines, illustrating the chances.
Is the general idea that the coastlines were changed by the powers of the Egg of Coot, effectively flooding large portions of the elven lands? Were any elven settlements preserved on the northern shores?
I tried to match it with the old dutch map, but still need to find the better scale. I don't know how Dave's explained the change of scale - and if he even searched for an explanation. What's intersting with that smale scale is that Blackmoor is what it is: as small boggy country iwith a few villages and castle. Maybe that's hy I love it, after my childhood in a swampy village allmost at sea level
Yes, it makes a pretty small map. I could make a version with one-mile / hex scale. I adapted a bit the roads, when it was apparently possible that some joined (like in the elf forest), but I could remove them.
A very cool map. I wish my map-creation skills were as good as that. (envy)
