A few people have asked me about this.
Fight On! is making a small amount of money; we are covering costs and buying enough wine so that if people visit me they can drink it. We also reinvest in contests and some other stuff.
Nonetheless, sometimes expenses are significant, particularly as I gradually resign myself to buying a replacement for my crappy old laptop, and have to get it fixed over and over in the meantime. This has run to several hundred dollars this year.
IF people would like to support FO! with additional financial contributions, they are welcome to do so. I would very much NOT like anyone to do this unless they have a good job of their own and feel that they are 'doing well'. And even if you do have a good job and are doing well, you don't need to do this. As I said, the magazine is paying for itself as of now, even with the additional problems. And we are doing it as a labor of love.
But, more money never hurts, and does make certain things around here easier. So, if you're flush and you want to contribute to FO!, and you don't want to do it by say buying a bunch of extra print copies and giving them as gifts or handing them out at cons, then please send your donations via paypal to iggyumlaut at gmail dot com.
