This is a bit of a crazy thought. But I think it would be neat if we could find the oldest character sheets around, have it scanned in for folks to see and read.

I'd say that if Robert the Bald or the Great Svenny are around, then they might win the prize. They played in Dave's Blackmoor campaign before any of the rest of us ever heard of the game, so any sheets from that era would have to win. :-)
I might have some of my old character sheets from the 1980's, but I doubt I have any from the 1970's. (I have a box of old stuff in the garage. I can look there.)

Kogush hails from a 70's Empire of the Petal Throne game. I still have the hand written notebook paper sheet. =

Robert are you looking for the oldest Typed/printed fill in the blank type sheet or just the oldest hand written one?

The oldest sheets I have are for AD&D from 1981, which is when I first started roleplaying at university. I just can't bring myself to throw them out, even though they're of no use to me or anyone.

Regardless of age, I'd just love to see scanned sheets of people's old characters. I have one of mine I'll try to post next time I'm running the scanner...

This thread inspired me to look through my old gaming stuff, so I started digging through some old folders of mine hoping to find Ragnar the Ranger (1982-3)or Sir Lexur the Paladin (1983) or Lord Alchire (1983) but no luck.
I found all sorts of crazy Gamma World stuff though and a bunch of stories I wrote when I 13. (Best lines from one of the stories: "He had caused the deaths of over four million Terran soldiers. He had single handedly defeated the entire military force of four planets.")
I did find some Native American NPC guy named Hector Plainsrider who was clearly inspired by the American Indian Mythos from DDG.
Crap. I'll keep looking.

I have some 'Retired' PCs from the late '70s - Does the board accept mega uploads (each PC is 9 to 10 sheets) from the original till retirement

Wow. I kept my character sheets up until the late 80s, and then must have thrown them out. What was I thinking?? I miss them, even though I remember most every character's stats!
