A fourty page dungeon level? With a bar & hostel?
Not content to have won the original adventure contest, Dave seems to have attempted to outdo himself. Kind of unbelievable.
A real original, this one, and very cool indeed. What do you all think?

I have to admit my first reaction was one of trepidation & disappointment. I've made some use of the previously published levels, and one of the things that work very well for me was the sketchiness of them, with enough there to suggest goings on, and fire my imagination, but no so much detail that I as the GM felt intimidated going in. I must admit that the current level intimidates me.
That said, I've only skimmed it, and am waiting for my print copy to show up before really getting to grips with it. Perhaps my opinion will change.

Perhaps my opinion will change. I hope so, Rafial. Feel free to PM or email if anything in the level is still intimidating after you've read it. If you're looking for a minimalistic style, just strip out the back story and dream content, then run it like a traditional dungeon. If the sheer amount of information is still too much then I trust you can nonetheless plumb the level for ideas like new monsters, magic items, NPCs or gambling games!

I was a bit concerned about there being a "supernatural seductress" right before my level of waiting ladies at the Fane. I suppose the situation is motivation for them to wander out to the Inn.
I liked the huge monsters, which make sense in a dungeon with a lot of high levels below. The trans-dimensional "looming" is a great feature for bringing in npcs/monsters from other eras/genres. I'll have someone from a sci-fi realm hidden on level 6!

Is this dungeon in FO#6? I haven't seen it yet.

It is in 6, Keltset.
Lee, let your own imagination go wild! We'll have a module reconciliation process when we bring out the combined final product...until then everyone should just do their level the way they want.

My friend Del (Oceanian Legends & other misc. submissions) gave this adventure the thumbs up.
