So how about that picture Patrick came up with of Jhimini Cricket?
Looks like it was ripped straight out of S2 to me....

That monster is a thing of beauty. And there's so much other great stuff to talk about here: flames of the torch, the Dracula cape combined with Phrygian cap, the fighting men helmets, the sparse armor and equipment, the lean and gangly figure and that axe design.

I'd like to thank all of the artists for the outstanding work in issue 6, and since we're talking about it, Patrick for the huge Jhimyn the Cricket King on p. 99. Perfect for display during play when the ginormous insect lands with a crash in the middle of the adventuring party. If you move the initials of Farley, Patrick back one place each in the alphabet you get an interesting result...just sayin'

I was searching around for a signature on it - I thought for sure that was an Erol Otus piece. Great job on that illo!!!

Yeah, I thought it was an Otus piece too, even after I'd heard the name of the actual artist. The fact that it looked so much like something out of module S2 and that Patrick Farley's initials were a one letter shift away from Erol Otus's (E --> F, O -->P) didn't help either. It's really an awesome piece and one that so perfectly mimics Otus's style that I continue to be amazed by it.

I was dumbfounded when I went back to the credits and saw that it wasn't Erol's work... amazing! Is this the same Patrick Farley of webcomic fame? If not, does he have a website anywhere?

I kept looking in the credits to find Erol Otus' credit, and I didn't find any! Amazing PIC! ;D
