There are a lot of very cool things in this issue. SL is one of them.
Aside from the great art we got for it, I think it stands up well alongside James Maliszewski's contribution to issue 2 and Gabor Lux's Fomalhaut as a great place to just plug in your game and go.
Jeff, are you using this at the Armored Gopher right now? What stuff from SL has made its way into your play already?

In session 3 the players did a little bit of exploration of the map. Notable events include one of the rad zones killing a PC, and the PCs rescuing hostages from the Suedoid pig-men. Session 4 started with a new group of PCs based out of the Farm Town. We made little use of the map though because I decided the entirety of the Buggem Lair mini-adventure from Gygax's Legion of Gold module for Gamma World would easily fit into the same hex as the Fishing Village. I'd really like to send them to the buried army base soon, as one of my regulars is totally bonkers for zombies.

I think the Cave Bear with gamma eyes is what cinched it for me. You, sir, have earned your place in the Kitchen Sink Coalition.

Kelvin's picture of that is sweet, too. Lot of good 'dirty bits' from Kelvin in this issue...

So far, I am just digesting it... but that picture of Bodhisattva Elvis? Yes. Yes, very much.

The moment Jeff posted on his blog that he wanted a laser-eyed-bear, it sprang into my mind and I had to draw it. I wasn't going to let anyone else have it! The Bodhisattva Elvis is amazing, and I'd love to see a larger, coloured version of that.
