The premiere (and sole) Carcosa PbP here on the board is in limbo. Though I've never run a PbP game (and it's been a few years since I've refereed a game), I'm willing to step up and fill in the gap.
If there is enough interest, I will approach Finarvyn for permission to have a new Carcosa PbP sub-thread created.
Members of Bert's game will have first dibs on being included; your existing characters may (if you so desire) be ported over to the new game. I'm looking for 6-8 players.
I will be running Obregon's Dishonor, so if you've read the module, or have read it and you think it stinks, you may wish to pass on this opportunity.
Turn frequency: daily.
Turn deadline: 0530-0600 hours CST (-5 Zulu) or CDT (-6 Zulu).
A note about turns: I work in healthcare with (at times) a wildly variable schedule. Thus, though I will run the turns every day there may be times when they are delayed a bit and be run as late 0900 hours. There is nothing I can do about this and there is no way I can predict when it will happen, though I will attempt to post here as soon as I know.
General information: you will start out appropriately equipped but running short of funds in a rapidly growing mining town south of the Thaggasoth Peaks (hex 0909). You're looking for opportunities and, as luck would have it, opportunity is looking for you.
Rating: PG-13

You said older characters could be imported -- is the adventure new or a continuation of some sort?
If you like I could simply rename the existing Carcosa board and you can continue working in that space. Or, I can make a space totally new and hide the old one in the "inactive" section.

I would have liked to join. But I own and have read Obregon's Dishonor and I feel that this would ruin it for me. Good luck with the campaign dubeers!

Okay, I still need characters from Chgowiz and Waysoftheearth. You'll begin the adventure in the mining town of Jaftgong, a Green Man village with a population of 350 (augmented by several hundred transients of various colors).
If you wish, feel free to choose incidental basic equipment (ten foot poles, torches, and the like). I will be handing out armor and weapons, and you'll have the opportunity to fine-tune that in the first few turns.
Don't generate starting money. You're all broke, I'll be detailing cash on hand along with your armor.
ETA: I've got pre-gens if you guys want to use them. Just say the word.
