It's been an unbelievable couple of weeks, first with my computer crashing and then with my daughter having pneumonia. We are getting through it and we hope to have issue 6 out (at least the draft version) later this week.
I think in light of recent lulu problems and this delay we are going to release the PDF not long after/roughly the same time as the print version. This is not a policy change, just a recognition of the current situation with lulu, international shipping, etc. If there aren't any new problems with this release we should go back to the delayed PDF release for issue 7.

Sorry to hear about your daughter, Sean. Last month, my family took a vacation to the Mainland and my son (2 and half) got the Swine Flu. I may never leave my Secret Volcano Lair again.

Thanks. My daughter had the swine flu and got through the 104 fever OK, but the secondary bacterial pneumonia has been a real bear. Not sure she's out of the woods yet (though symptoms are enough under control that I'm hoping she's on the mend).
Progress was made last night. We'll see how this goes.

I skimmed the first post so fast that I missed the bad news about your daughter Sean. The Australian government after initially being very casual about it, is now taking the whole issue very seriously. At the moment, my neighbours with seven children won't take kids to town with them if they go in. And having an wife who is vulnerable because of illness, I have been taking extra precautions myself when I have to go in. Both your families will be in my thoughts Sean and Matt.

She was hospitalized last night. Good news is she's now beaten the secondary infection (pneumonia) and just has to get her inflamed bronchial tubes calmed down so that her blood oxygen gets to normal.
I came by the house so I could get my computer to work on Fight On! while I stay up all night with her at the hospital.
Fight on!
P.S. I don't think anyone wound up doing a pic of Dr. Isosceles' traveling wagon, but if you did please post here and/or resend it...though I don't know if I have email at the hospital or not for sure.
More soon. My little girl is going to be OK.

Crikey, you've really had a tough time with putting this issue together! Good to hear that things seem to be on the up though. I'll have my fingers crossed for you and the little'un.

Looks like they have working internet at the hospital. I'm watching her play in bed & she's not having any troubles. So, good news!

She's been off supplemental oxygen for several hours now without problems. She'll probably need a little while she sleeps and then go home tomorrow. Everything else was already fixed by the antibiotics. It's all very scary, but I think things are OK.
Page 52 in the meantime. Keep on chooglin'.

Having to take your child to the ER is always rough. We had to do that once when my daughter (now almost 5 years old) was an infant.
All my best, Sean.

We're home from the hospital and she seems to be sleeping soundly. Only to page 59 now, but hopefully we can power through more tomorrow.
