Non-exhaustive but I wanted to give our artists some time to get started. Call dibs, ask questions, etc. in this thread.
Thanks!

Stuff for Jeff Rients’ “Mutant Future Sandbox” – Jeff? I'm still developing it, but here's some ideas based on stuff that will definitely appear in the sandbox: a cavebear with laser eyes a shrine to Bodhisattva Elvis a psionic mutant nun plucking fruit from a tree, the fruit are giant eyeballs post-apoc adventurers travelling through a landscape where Evard's style tentacles sprout from the ground, impeding their progress a vast crater, the sky above is an aurora of radiation, but at the bottom of the crater are thatched huts

A picture of a naked male minotaur putting an axe through a fighter’s helmet Broad-bladed steel spear with dragonhide grip I'll give these a go. Plus maybe a couple of generic adventurer pictures. Any chance on some more details on those 3 NPCs? If I get time I might tackle one. Also, deadline?

I can work on the "architectural" requests like the tower or bar, given that at least a rough map/layout is forwarded to me.
Also, details for the faerie ambassador.

Also, details for the faerie ambassador. "...a tall, beautiful female dressed in regal attire. Her skin is the color of fresh milk and her hair the hue of sun-dappled honey. Her very form seems to glow with a soft light that conjures up images of star-filled night skies with a full moon riding high." If that helps any. And if anyone wants to take a stab at Prof. Isoceles' Wonder Show, Vincent Price & Peter Lorre driving a gypsy wagon and being chased by an angry mob might be a good mental image to start with.

a cavebear with laser eyes I've been sketching some ideas for this ever since I saw it on Jeff's blog the other day, so if no one else wants it...

Thanks guys!
I'll send you the tower stuff, Lee.
Ant, hold up on those three characters, I think they already may have some images.
Deadlines? The sooner the better I guess. June 27 would be great but there will be more art requests...this thread is for the early birds...

Laser bear is done, and I'll get that scanned and sent in a day or two. I'll have a look at the rest next.

That's good news for me, since I won't have time to draw again until the 26th at the earliest. Oh, and there's a couple of comics waiting for you in your in-box.

Awesome pic, Germille. I love the t-shirt, too. Cal, the Broad-bladed steel spear with dragonhide grip pic has been submitted.

Thanks! We need a picture in approximately these dimensions (you can draw it bigger if you want to get better detail, but the same frame length/width is important): a wizard would be fine. Maybe smoking a long pipe? With a funny hat? Or open to other creative ideas as well. Who wants it?

My article FO! #6 is in its final stages. It will be accompanied by an illustration by Ian Baggley, the interior artist for my forthcoming RPG. If you accept my submission for publication, can you include the art as well? Thank you for your time.

A picture of a bar in a dungeon – “Longspear’s Halfway Inn” Stuff for Sham’s Darkness Beneath Level 5 – Sham? Sorry I didn't see this earlier! Might be way too late now. Here are some possibilities anyway: The Roaches, a street urchin gang of preteen juvenille delinquents that hideout in the Halfway Inn and like to cause mayhem with slingshots, marbles and pocket knives. Feral Fangs, tall, gaunt ape-like monsters with a single large eye and a pair of forehead antennae. Can crawl "spider-like" in caverns and hang upside down from stalactites. The Twisted Faerie Queene, an attractive "Vampirella" Fae Queen in a richly appointed throne room with vast treasure. And/or the same Queen slumbering upon a rune carved stone dais at the bottom of an oubliette. The Lost Corsairs, half a dozen Barbary Pirates trying to come to terms with their new cavernous dungeon environment. Troll Exiles, up to four Dark Trolls relaxing in massive natural formation 'bathtub stalagmites' of steamy water in a cave. Jhimyn, a monstrously huge mutated albino Cricket in a dark cave. Jalen Longspear, perhaps in a heroic pose from one of the many portraits adorning his Inn. Think legendary FM of many famous adventures with a particularly impressive Spear. Nearly any artwork of adventurers using tools to climb in treacherous caves: pits, shafts, plunges, etc. think deep damp chasms, stalactites, stalagmites, etc. Let me know if you need more specific information, time permitting!

A ballpark of 1150 pixels wide x 575 pixel high (give or take) would make things much easier for Cal. My fault for sending the wrong sized art.

It surely won't make a difference, but if you haven't seen the details of Calithena's Dark Trolls, they are normally armed and armored. Of course these blokes won't be so outfitted while relaxing with a hot bath, but if you wanted to include gear nearby you could. Thanks Marjasall!

Now when you say "monstrous cricket", do you mean: A) cow sized? B) orca sized? C) Godzilla sized?

Unfortunately, I did not know any more details about the trolls (wasn't sure exactly what a "dark troll" was), so they look like your average 1E trolls (as they look in the MM) - no armor or weapons in the pic - just 4 trolls hanging out in a stalagmite "bathtub" - naked.

Marjasall: No worries, glad you were able to draw that up so quickly. What you describe sounds perfect! Lee: I had originally typed in elephant-sized in the post, but those are the wrong shape so I left that bit out. To answer your question, between cow and orca sized! dubeers: haha. Interesting idea...

Cal - I've been laid low with a bad case of the flu but I'm looking at getting the minotaur vs fighter's helmet done by the end of this week.
