I'm trying to track down an article from White Dwarf #5, called D&D Campaigns Part III, Rules Recommendations. By Lewis Pulsipher.
Apparently, it's also in Best of White Dwarf Articles.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm. Is it in your e-mail inbox? You might look there, just in case. :-)

Thanks! It's not what I expected, but it's what I wanted.

:-) You have to be more specific if that's not what you wanted.

:-) You have to be more specific if that's not what you wanted. Please read my reply again: It IS what I wanted. It just isn't what I hoped it would be. That's all. Since I had never read it, I couldn't be sure what it was going to turn out like. I only knew it was a discussion of rules recommendations, so I had hoped it would be similar to some of the discussions we've had around here. (Having an article from back in the day, on the same things we discuss, would be extremely groovy in my opinion.) It's still terribly awesome and good food for thought. I especially like the suggestions about alignment. Thanks again!

It just isn't what I hoped it would be. <snip> I had hoped it would be similar to some of the discussions we've had around here. Actually, most of the discussion here seems to be a lot better than many of the articles written back "in the day," Folks here in general have a lot of gaming experience and ideas and are very accepting of each other's ideas. However, I wish there was a way to share more of the old stuff with newer gamers who might not have had access at the time. While I read Dragon from its inception, I never really followed White Dwarf at all, for example. Getting that WD CD was a gold mine of stuff to read, even if I haven't found most of it to be that useful.
