As some of you know, I have a new news blog, Adventure Game News at adventuregamenews.blogspot.comI would be more than happy to report any new products and developments in the "Old School" and "Retro-Clone" product market. So please do not hesitate to contact me! You can send product release information to me at the address below. Unlike some blogs, I like to post images, so two to five images or so from your product, especially a cover, would be fine. JPG or PNG is best, with the image scaled to be around four to five inches across (though I can convert that if need be). If you have a new product and need some help writing up your first press release and/or product release, I'd also be glad to help. First time's free... I report not only product news, but also event news, so if you have a major Old School tournament planned at a convention or such, also please pass such information on! Thanks!

Following your blog, now, James. I noted the new Nightbane sourcebook is coming out. Good to see the game getting some support, but a few potentially disturbing hints in the list of what's included.

That often happens when you work under "work for hire" while playing in another's sandbox. Of course, if it was not work for hire, then you might have a legal complaint... Otherwise, that's the nature of the business... hopefully he at least gives you a credit on the titles page. Unless that was stipulated in the contract, though, he's not even required to do that. It's one of the reasons I self-publish...

I'm not holding my breath for a credit. Siembieda's M.O. is to do this kind of stuff repeatedly--had I known that before I would never have written for them in the first place. But, capricious youth.
In any case, yeah, I was already paid for the work. That's not the issue; the credit is the issue.
Of course, I may be jumping the gun here--it's possible this just coincidentally LOOKS like some stuff I submitted, and will in fact be completely different text. No way to know till it comes out.
