It was my impression that everything in Fight On! was to use the same "system" to make it easier on us readers to comprehend the levels, attributes, HP, etc... easily. It seems like there is more than one system being used, especially in issue 3, so am I wrong that only one system is to be used? Or was Issue 3 making use of the old JG universal system? What?

There is one article in issue 3 (James Mishler's) that uses the JG universal roleplaying system. There have been a few articles for Empire of the Petal Throne (classic) and a few other systems as well. Most of what we publish is pretty inter-compatible though, and we try to keep a mostly uniform format within a given issue, to the degree that we can.
