I would like to introduce myself to the group, I'm Dennis and I just had my first novel released in the past month. I'm a firm believer that the OD&D is still the best D&D with the group's imagination being the only real limit to what can be born during game play.
Thank you for indulging me.

Pazar You Say?
It is Summer Solstice, deep in the beautiful terrain of Southern California in the mid- 90's. Roger ‘Roach’ Metwick and a dozen or so friends are on an over-night camping trip enjoying peace, quiet and the excitement of a rather taxing game of D&D, Roach awakens in another world and in another time. His has been transplanted to the land of Pazar – which he knew of from his Dungeons and Dragons game play and reference material. He is discovered by the MySteer brothers who invite him into their home and their life as they find themselves on the brink of a continental war against an army of evil lead by a giant black Minotaur.
While in the mystical city of Starhaven, Roach enjoys the comforts of Elven hospitality, adventures throughout the countryside with the MySteer brothers, and discovers love with an Elven woman, Chrystiana. Relationships between the Human and Elven races are frowned on; however no such thing has ever stopped Roach from getting what he wants.
The MySteers task our hero with applying his knowledge of modern warfare from his Vietnam days to swords, arrows, magic spells and mystical creatures. His success hinges on his knowledge and gut instincts as he takes an elite team to the depths of Pazar's evil-breeding eastern seaboard, as the MySteers and their Starhaven army prep to meet the black Minotaur and his legions.
