I'm really itching to get into a game of OD&D, but I just don't dig play by post, PbeM, or virtual tabletop gaming for my PnP fix. It's gotta be face to face.
So I'm wondering if there's anyone hereabouts running OD&D, who happens to live in Pittsburgh and has an open spot at their table?

ScottyG over on DF! and DoomsdayGames is in Pittsburgh IIRC. I don't think he's running OD&D, though---I'm pretty sure it's AD&D.

Yeah...I'm already running AD&D with my bi-weekly Friday group. Wish there were more old-schoolers around here, but sadly we seem overrun with the RPGA crowd.

I live in Lower Burrell which is about 20 or so miles from Pittsburgh but I am moving to South Side sometime this year I'd love to play after I move this summer. Roy

Well, it doesn't help you now Jason, but I am from the Mt Pleasant/Donegal area. We do get home about every other month so I could theoretically drop in for a game on occaision. You might try putting up a flyer at CMU, CU, Duquesne, and Pitt, or maybe contacting the local SCA or Dagorhir chapters, there is bound to be some folks interested there.

Problem is this area is crawling with RPGA WotC mouthpieces and few want to pay older editions.
Not a bad idea overall, with the flyer, save that I avoid the dagorhir crowd as much as possible b/c there are folks in there with whom I do NOT get along...
