First ten pages are laid out. Now I am waiting on a couple of people - but I also have to grade finals.  If I actually get more time to work in the next couple of days and the anticipated aren't in I may tweak the order so we can get more laid out faster. |

Up to page 14 last night. There will be a brief hiatus this weekend but I actually think prospects for a finished issue by Thursday of next week seem pretty good at this point.
Sham, if you're checking your email in the middle of the week we may need to turn around some Delvers Delve and Darkness Beneath stuff very quickly, or not if I get it all worked out myself, but anyway if you're checking your email during that time it would be a big help.

I'll try not to keep you waiting too long!
I would say next week this time at the absolute latest. I'm in the mid-fifties now on layout and there is only one more hard thing - some hack named Calithena wrote a turgid, unreadable level of The Darkness Beneath so I'm going to have to whip it into shape before it can go to press - great maps and art people drew for it though. If it wasn't for that I could probably pull an all-nighter and get it out tonight. As it is probably two days of work, but this weekend we have three parties/gatherings, a neighborhood event, and we're probably buying a car, plus I'm home with my daughter from Friday to Monday, so we'll see. Maybe if I load up on port (I have a nice 10 year tawny from Infantado open, I prefer their estate/vintage ports stylistically but it's a very nicely made specimen) and coffee after the wife and daughter go to sleep...

We are so close now. I am in the eighties and the issue will be back to 88. Once it's done we'll practically be ready to lock and load on #6 too. But, I'm going on vacation tomorrow night. I smell an all nighter coming. We will see.

Hi again!
I might be able to squeeze it out by 5 tonight but if I do I won't have time to properly edit. For the first couple issues this was fine but now that double digits of people buy it before I even get the print proof copy I feel an obligation to make it as clean and attractive as possible before it goes to print.
Tuesday at the latest barring natural or human disaster. Maybe Monday if the stars line up right.
Both of these are in May and will enable combined orders, discounts. etc.
Thanks for your patience! This is a really great issue, in some ways the best yet, and I promise it will be worth the wait!

Hey Calithena, dont rush it. Your work has been really good in previous issues, so I'd prefer that you took what time it takes. And you shouldnt have to work your self to death over this, it should be fun too! Now, having said that I'm really looking forward to the new issue! |

layout is done. preview thread shortly and then i'll get it on lulu. surreal day, car accident interfered (everyone's ok), but we're there.
