Most of you are probably aware that BHP is going to publish my Carcosa module Obregon's Dishonor sometime in April. To my knowledge it will be the first standalone commercial module for this setting. I've contacted a few of you about using your fan work for Carcosa in the module, each of you has been gracious enough to consent. Unfortunately, the work is growing too large for the desired format, that of a digest sized booklet. Shoe horning in Burke's marvelous monsters and monster tables, or Crussdaddy's Infernal Pigments felt a little too forced. Snorri and others have posted other material I thought was pretty good, too. So, I thought if the posters here were willing, I could arrange these materials into a digest sized booklet available in PDF format. It would be available in a print version and reading version and would be free for the asking. Maybe we could even get Geoffrey to contribute another piece of the Carcosa map to the work. I have some additions to psionics I think might be useful, and I'm pretty sure there are more additions to Carcosa that haven't been posted here. So, are you game? If so, contributions to "Carcosa Unearthed" (tentative title) are now .. OPEN! By the way, if you've posted some material for Carcosa that I've not listed here, the omission is an oversight on my part and not a snub of any kind.

This all sounds very awesome (though I must admit that I am not overly fond of the tentative title Carcosa Unearthed, probably because of my dislike of Gary's Unearthed Arcana). I'm eagerly looking forward to getting both the module and this book. I'm afraid that I won't be able to contribute another quadrant of the Carcosa map. I'd want to do it up proper, with hundreds of encounter areas, sorcerous rituals tied-in, etc. Approximately 80% of my home Carcosa campaign has taken place on the map area published in Supplement V: CARCOSA. About 20% of it has taken place on the quadrant to the south of it. The two eastern quadrants are still virgin territory. Thus, I just don't have as much material on the other three quadrants as I do on the published one.

Do you prefer 'Suplement 5.5', 'Complete's guide to Carcosa', 'Carcosa's Gazeeter', "'Compleat Carcosa book', 'Carcosa's grimoire' or 'Caverns of Carsosa', Geoffrey ?

Carcosan Grimoire sounds pretty good to me.
Geoffrey, I completely understand about the maps. If there is anything you'd like to put into this work, something you forgot to include in the original, for instance, I'd be happy to include it; or perhaps an essay about Carcosa. Whether you have any material you wish to contribute or not, however, I'd be thrilled if you would write a short introduction.

Thanks, Jeff! I'd seen that but it had slipped my mind. I would love to include it.

I'll see if I can contribute anything in addition to an introduction. What sort of timetable are we looking at here? What's the deadline for submitting things to you?

I'll be honored to write a short introduction. Thank you! A digest sized page is yours to fill if you want it. Take as much or as little as you feel moved. Thanks again! I'm thinking a month. The layout really won't take that long, it is a matter of accumulating enough material. I'm also hoping to be able to cajole a couple of the artists here into doing some charity work (since the supplement itself will be gratis.

Your module is coming out this month? I don't speak for Brave Halfling Publishing but, if all the art and proofing comes together in a timely manner, yes. I'm working on a proofer's copy as we speak and will submit it to BHP today.

If you're talking about the module, John, it looks like it will be around 50 pages (24 or 28 sheets). It is around 50,000 or 60,000 words.

You have my blessing proceed with the Infernal Pigments! Looking forward to seeing the completed project (and I'll look over the list of wanted items to see if there is anything else I can contribute).

If something occurs to you that isn't on the list, you're welcome to contribute that. The list is merely to spur imaginations.

I'd be more than happy to contribute my character sheet. Not sure you need any permission, but if you do: ::presto!:: Permission granted!

I don't know if "need" is completely correct but certainly "want" is applicable. It is your work and my respect for what you've done demands I ask permission to print it.

I'm looking forward to this. Carcosa has inspired some good stuff.
