The best part about DF for me was that it eventually led me here. I like this place. Me, too!

This thread has got me back lurking at Dragonsfoot... just staying out of the General Discussion area for my own sanity.

This thread has got me back lurking at Dragonsfoot... just staying out of the General Discussion area for my own sanity. That's a good thing! I certainly don't want this thread to be a DF-bashing place; there are some really good posters there and I'd hate to have anyone quit lurking there just because of a few bad apples. All of us old-edition groups need to stick together!

For me it's a no brainer. I stopped buying RPG material at 1E (Pre-Internet) and OD&D & 1E is all I know.
That is one of the major reasons I like (soon to love) this board.
In 2008 I started to find RPG material via the Internet that was free <grin> and with our limited income it became the only way to expand my knowledge of the RPG World.
All my Campiagn Material (Homemade) is Old D&D. I can remember making tables & dungeons on a IBM Selectric & even go as far back as a non-electric typewriter (Pre-PC)<Very Big Grin>, heck I even remember the 'Apeco" copyier (orange wax paper),
To say I'm set in my ways is like asking the Empire State Building to move to San Fransico<grin>
