I'll play with the image this weekend to come up with a color scheme and font which is more muted and relaxing. Certainly the one I have jumps off of the page at you.
Or, I could make the entire board the same reddish color......

I liked the plain text, but the graphic would be dandy with the normal colors and without the white pixely font border (and the horrible quality image).

Okay, so here's version 2 of the graphic. Not so much that it "screams at you" but still has the basic elements of the old graphic. (Now maybe Chgowiz won't have to hunt me down...)
