Subject line pretty much sums it up. With that final surge of deals and so on, how did the final rankings come out?

Hi Fin!
We won't know the final contest standings until April 15, but I would be very surprised if FO! wasn't in the top 3.
Response during the final nine days was awe-inspiring. We owe a deep debt of gratitude to everyone who chipped in, and I'll have more to say about that later.
We were in second place with two days to go, and the last day was our best, with someone placing a very large order for multiple copies of each issue. That person deserves special thanks, and they have our blessing to re-sell, give away, or hoard those issues in whatever way they think best. I have some guesses as to who it is but no definite ideas.
More soon! Thanks to everyone!

Cool. Fingers crossed, even though we can no longer influence the results. If nothing else, it was fun to watch the Retro machine in action. (Kind of like watching the last few minutes of an e-bay auction!) :-)

A bunch of us here in Toronto pooled together and bought a lot of stuff from both Ignatius and Matt in order to save on shipping. I'm very glad to have been able to make a contribution to the drive and wish both publishers luck. It'd be awesome if you both managed to appear in the Top 3, although the mere fact that you were already in the Top 10 is amazing in itself.

That order from Canada and another even bigger one from who knows where made the last day our best. Could we pass the hot rodders? Could happen, I'm not holding my breath, but I really doubt two other authors are going to pass us up.

Well I for one am happy that we are all back to normal again! Me too. The marathon session to create the art book left me wiped out. Just like Calithena, we also saw a huge spike in sales, and although I doubt we'll make it into third place I also doubt we'll get knocked out of fifth. I consider that a major victory when it's combined with Calithena's placing.
